Practices begin in August.

Teams will practice 2 nights a week M-F after 5:00 pm (dependent on volunteer coaches schedule).   

Practice locations are at various Franklin Pierce Schools.  

After games start, practice schedule is at the coaches discretion.

FPSD Athletic Edge Summer Training - Summer 2025

High School Female Athletes ONLY
The Athletic Edge Summer Training Program is designed to help high school female athletes enrolled in the Franklin Pierce School District (Franklin Pierce High School, Wahington High School, Gates High School) receive introductory to intermediate weight training to increase their athletic performance. Athletes should range from incoming freshman to current high school juniors (entering their Senior year in September 2025).
Training will not be sport specific and will be focused on improving fundamental athletic movements and exercises such as the barbell squat, bench press, etc…Instruction will be provided by the Strength and Conditioning Coach for Franklin Pierce High School Football along with a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certified Physical Education Teacher who holds both a bachelor’s and master's degree.

Parkland Running Club - Summer 2025

The Parkland Runing Camp is designed for youth athletes wanting to improve their endurance, stamina, strength and mental toughness for distance running. 
Participants will be involved in a variety of runs, games, circuit training, and weight training. 
All the while participants will be taught the proper running form and participate in team building activities. 
Hosted by WHS XC team.

Cardinal Youth Football Skills camp is designed to help young athletes entering 4th through 8th grade develop their football fundamentals and understanding of the game. 
Camp will be led by Franklin Pierce High School coaching staff and players.  The camp will focus on individual skill development through dynamic drills, position-specific coaching, and group instruction.
Each day will conclude with fun, competitive 7-on-7 games to apply learned skills in a team setting.  
Our goal is to build confidence, character, and competence in every camper, whether they are new to football or looking to sharpen their skills for the next level.

Running into Fall - Summer 2025

RUNNING into Fall is a space for elementary aged students to run and play in local parks and green spaces with running games and activities facilitated by High School Cross country Runners. 
It will culminate in a 0.9 mile "Family fun-run" around the lake at Wapato Park in Tacoma.
